Hot tubs seem fine but the pool is a bit odd in my book, and certainly not for me! It is an outdoor 'natural pool' - it has things growing in it!! As it didn't interest me I didn't go and have a good look, I'm afraid. I suspect it is more popular for kayaking than swimming.

I know a good bit about swimming pools, both conventional and swimming ponds. If they have got the planting and natural filtration right, then it will be quite healthy, but likely to be too cold for most folks. Normally, pools operate with water heated to 28-32c, warmer for therapy pools, but they aren't always healthy at that temperature! We like a bit of wild swimming, and love sea bathing, so could be tempted in the warmer months! Hot tubs are a bacteria nightmare, and need constant monitoring! At a Leisure conference I attended in Torquay, we all took water test kits to make sure the hot tubs were healthy before we got in!
