Wsiting to take delivery of our first campervan - a VW conversion with extending roof which has a heater. Have read that duvalays are a good investment - what have others found?

This is an old thread, there must now be someone out there with a duvalay. I'm thinking of buying one but I'm suspicious of memory foam which gets far too hot for me. Anyone out there with any thoughts?

We started with sleeping bags, but now use a duvet as at home.

If your bed will not accept a bottom sheet, we found that a lightweight duvet in a  cover was good to sleep on.

Strange thing is that I would have thought that the post had some replies. Where are they?

Duvalay toppers with zipped on sheets and then a quilt gets my votet. Takes seconds to make and amazingly comfortable.

So do we.  For the fixed double bed with the corner cut off, we find an ordinary fitted sheet works OK on the mattress on top of some sort of mattress protector.  Just make sure that the fitted sheet has elastic all the way round and not just at the corners.

We changed from duvets to Duvalays and are very pleased with them. It's a bit of a faff getting the covers on and off for washing but that's the only minor complaint I have.
