    Yes well deserved..love the guy.. alittle sad to see him with his illness but he still retains his great sense of humour.  smile

    Did anyone watch the programme about the portraits of Sir Billy, earlier this week.  i thought it was a great programme, and as always, his sense of humour was spot on!

    I thought Billy Connolly was the funniest comedian / raconteur ever when I first saw him in the seventies, having seen his act live and on TV over recent years he should have given it up in the seventies.

     

    Great if you like a tirade of foul language and someone laughing at his own unfunny jokes

    I’ve always liked Billy Connelly not only is he an excellent comedian but he is also a brilliant musician playing guitar,banjo and mandolin .
