Country pubs
This is the ideal time of year for a walk in the country enjoying the autumn colours and fresh air and stopping off in a country pub for lunch or an evening meal. Just imagine...sitting in a cosy pub with the fire crackling in the corner after a long day enjoying the brisk outdoors. Who says touring has to end with summer?
Here are some recommendations from our members on good pubs near Club Sites. If you also have any recommendations please let us know so we can make the most of these beautiful autumn days.

Excellent thought Rowena. Does anybody know how accessible Chester is from the Club site there - walk, public transport, taxi?

Parking for over height vehicles at P&R by zoo. Can walk into town along canal or bus in. By a P&R ticket if walking and bus back. Haven't done the walk in for about three years but the route is away from P&R, through zoo access road and past the entrance. Turn left onto track and left at end to canal. ,,,, keep going left in other words.

From the site to the bus stop is about a three quarter of a mile walk. When we were there we wanted to visit the Waterways Museum at Ellesmere Port and we took a taxi both ways for that visit and I don't recall prices being excessive.

Marazion Site, try The Trevelyan Arms or The Crown, both in Goldsithney village, 15 minute walk from site. Both nice pubs, good food.
