Live at the Motorhome and Caravan Show

Good evening, we arrived at the show today, but it took us nearly half an hour to actually get to the campsite from the motorway. The ‘signage’ was absolutely terrible. At least four security staff at different points sent us in totally different directions. One man was in a hut, which is about two minutes walk from where we are now parked, he sent us back out on to the motorway on a further ten minute drive when all he had to do was send us a few feet further on.  The last woman looked absolutely shattered, assume she’d had lots of other people complaining. We’ve now come back to our van as we went over to the entertainment marquee, we were there an hour before the start time -and there was not a free table. This marquee was about half the size of the tent our centre often takes on a weekend rally! Very upset as I’d paid £72 for the privilege as a birthday present for my husband, very expensive for two OAPs and won’t be attending any similar CAMC shows again, will stick to Warner’s shows where you get value for money and entertainment in proper size venues.

I  understand  your  complaints  ValR,  and  think  you  have  been  very  badly  treated.  However  the  show  itself  is  NOT  a  CAMC run  show,  but  a  commercial  run  show  that  CAMC  hangs  its  Driving / towing  Course,  campsite  &  entertainment ( I think    )  onto  the  fringes of.
