As above caravan stolen last night

Coachman Olympian vision 640/6

Had four wheel locks fitted:

2 Alko wheel locks
2 Nemesis wheel locks
Hitch lock
and both steadys at the back where locked and all that was left where two long drag marks as it looks like it was dragged on to a flatbed or low loader either way I think it put up a fight with the marks left behind.

So bet it was stolen to order

Sorry to hear that, Reevco. It proves the theory that nothing will stop a determined thief.

What area was it stolen from?

That's really bad news. We are also in Warwickshire so would be glad to know where it was taken from. I guess a photo of it won't be much help now if it was stolen to order and is already a long way away.

    Two Alco locks near side

Two Nemisis wheel locks off side

    and tracker

And it's just vanished with out trace

Another Twin Axle van stolen, everyday there seems to be reports on various FB sites of Twin Axles being taken, it would appear that the people that steal them are going around looking for the rich pickings. Possibly out of the country to Mainland Europe or Ireland.

    Hi Reevco,

Sorry to hear of your loss, we do know how it feels though we had a brand new T.E.C. stolen off our front garden at Hinckley. We've stayed too on Dave's site and was upset to find they had had a few problems on the farms with ( we know who they are ) scum that do these things.

They probably left the handbrake on to save damage to wheels and arches, to be removed at their leisure and it's also probable that it's not too far away now.

OK people and police saying " It's an insured item so don't worry ", do hope you didn't have as much personal gear in, just watch as mine did, your premiums go up .

Went back to the site to day found molten metal where the alko locks where and broken parts of the rear steady locks so it was just towed away not loaded on to a lorry

It was noted by me in " Caravan Life " magazine ( 2001 )  that all that was left on our block paving were two piles of slag where they had used gas axes to cut off the Hitch/Wheelclamp. Which is the best form of locking our caravans when these scum are using such equipment.
