Insurance Quote Hard Work

For the 3rd year in a row I have attempted to obtain a quote form our Club using the on-line system everytime it states in red Details Different and goes no further and does not indicate what is different.So again I end up ringing this time to sit in a que for 10 minutes no reply and for the now standard reply excessive demand period used by the Utility Companies. For a third year in row I will spend my money elsewhere.

    I tried to get a quote but found it difficult because the vehicle is new and about to be registered so not on the insurance company computer systems. However Saga ( I am 65) did an online very competitive quote without insisting on an alarm and specific tracking devices. So I joined two clubs thinking I would get good insurance quotes only to be proved wrong....

    We also tried to get a quote for our new motorhome.....yell

    ETA 18th October. No registration plate No Quote.

    I am having trouble trying to get an online quote for car insurance.  I can't get past the "vehicle not recognised" message - despite the fact that mine is a 2013 registered vehicle.  No matter which way I fill it in, I can get no further.

    I am sorry we cannot quote online if the vehicle is not yet registered. I can ask someone to contact you if this is convenient.

    I think the insurance companies should take note. It looks like people are going elsewhere because the systems they are using are not suitable, especially for a vehicle about to be registered.

    I tried for Quote as you say it took long time to get to the operator and at the end I asked to compere excess and all of them were at least double to what I was currently paying
