Hello all,
New to the club, caravaning and UK. From the US and will be here until 2020. Would like to start caravaning to AONBs starting with Cotswold and check out Autumn Foliages.

Where and when? Planning to go this weekend.

Thanks in advance for your tips.

After the Cotswolds, try the Chilterns and Malvern. Clumber Park is pretty good - Robin Hood country!

Good idea to tick off the AONBs. I'd start though with the National Parks though as they cover a wider area.

Check out Westonbirt Arboretum, Tetbury, Gloucestershire. They have an Autumn/Fall walk with some outstanding Trees from around the World. Spectacular for the 'leaf peepers'smile

I'm on a part seasonal pitch at Bourton on the Water. It's a great site in itself (need to have own facilities) and there are some fantastic local walks to appreciate the autumn colours. I'm planning on going to Westonbirt Arboretum this weekend so was really excited to see R2B's photo.

I can definitely recommend this site if you want a quiet friendly stay. If you do go say hello if you see me with three West Highland terriers!

    Gill,

We love Autumn colours. Can highly recommend the Club's Bolton Abbey Site in North Yorkshire, the Dales area. Stunning walks direct from your pitch, with some lovely scenery, couple of very nice cafes at the end of each walk, and close by a romantic castle and great market town at Skipton. Yorkshire is beautiful in the Autumn. Enjoy!laughing
