Irresponsible dog owners

DM, that reminds me of an event a few years ago on a C&CC site where a member was giving the warden a right ear bashing about loud music being played late at night. Even when it was pointed out to him that the noise was coming from a house across the fields, he still continued to berate the warden and moaned to anyone else who would listen to him.

I had one of those Tinny. I was at Moreton in Marsh, because I'm a pre Dawn riser I was paddling thru the site apparently 'my' Dog was seen to use a pitch as a toilet. I was there solo-no Dogs with me. The Warden apologised for bothering me, I never got an apology from the person who erroneously saw my Dog(who was in Yorkshire at the time) do the deed mind

I wonder if it was the same complainant who caused the warden to come to our pitch at Much Wenlock to tell us we hadn't picked up after our dog. To be fair we hadn't. They were 60 miles away staying with my Mum.
There are some weird people around

Not to mention the dog owner we observed up in Scotland recently who let one of his three dogs out early each morning. It promptly went round the other side of the offending van and "watered" the aquaroll and other available equipment.

I had an Aunt who had a new neighbour and a couple of day later he complained about her dog barking , and she said to him that she had not got a dog ,but he was insistent she had ,so she invited him round and there was no dog , but only a Myna bird that had mimicked the barking of the previous owner's dog , he didn't bother her again

It isn't just on caravan sites and it isn't just dogs barking. My local parish magazine for the village has just been delivered - it includes a photo of local farmer with one of his three best young rams dead, and the other two animals recovering but with a big vet bill to pay after they were chased and caught by a dog. And on the next page a plea from the village football team who are fed up with dodging dog sh*t on the football pitch.

It isn't the dog's fault, they are doing what some dogs will do if their Lazy and Incompetent owners can't be bothered to train and control them properly.
Every dog has the potential to be a great dog.--- Dogs are blameless just doing what their owners are allowing them to do.. Punish the anti social owners.

True K, you are wasting your time on here I'm afraid. There is no enjoyment in the truth for the anti's I'm afraid. The Dogs are innocent

'same old anti dog posters' nice one.
Dave, not that dissimilar to folk posting about 'the usual suspects', is it?
i thought 'collective references' were taboo?
1 -
It's not similar at all, BB. It's not name calling but a description of people's posting tendencies.
I could call you, and a few others, the same old avid posters of the joys of being over there. It's the same thing - a description of your posting tendency. Surely only a foolish person or a trouble maker would describe that as a taboo collective reference?
2 -
But that's not what BB was querying.
Read his post again.
Anyway, I'm sure Dave is quite capable of explaining if he feels the need.

It's a phrase, DD. Same old, same old. It does not refer to age of a person, or persons, but to long standing use or practice. Is it a new one to you?

Good idea, Husky. See you in the bar.

You, a GOG, DD, we can't have that.
I dare say I've got as many years under my belt as you, if not more.
