Tidy cables
I'm sure I'm getting OCD in my old age, but I sat outside my outfit last week growing totally distracted by the number of loose cables all over the place, EHU, aerial, extension lead into awning etc. So I set about dreaming up a cunning plan and bingo - here is my tip for all of my fellow ship-shape freaks.
Take a cable-tie (4mm wide) and form it into a loop of about 20mm (just enough to pass the plug through). Cut off the excess and feed the connecting block end into your skirting channel (this is assuming you don't use a full length awning skirt). Repeat this for as many loops as you need then feed your cable through the loops. Simples! and the whole outfit looks neat and tidy.
Now then, where's my teddy gone...

So I've been doing it wrong all these years stuffing any cable out of sight underneath the caravan. But then I don't have an awning to be sitting out in, worrying about these sort of things. It will be waste pipes on full facility pitches next!

sadly yes, far too much time and far more serious things to worry about!

I just shove it all under the caravan and bring it where the battery box cover is.
Anyone found an easy way to ensure the wheel centre badges are both level and read correctly when you arrive on pitch, bit of pain keep jacking it up to spin the wheels.

Yep, definitely OCD.

I think the Club should install inductive pads under each pitch so that we can just drive on and recharge our batteries without any mains connection. You know it makes sense!

Perhaps there is a market for grass green coloured hook-up cables and aerial co-ax cable?

I think the club ought to provide all pitches with overhead "pantograph" aerial and mains power supplies to each caravan - the warden then wouldn't have to bother lifting cables to mow his "lawn" !
Might " patent " this idea !

thanks for all your kindly advice, I think I'll just keep taking the tablets!
By the way, I discovered last week one serious draw-back on inflatable awnings, the pump doesn't work very well when you run a Hyundai Tuscon over it. On the positive side I've found another very good use for Duck Tape which restored the pump to full working order in no time (well about 2 hours actually but I dread to think how much a new one would cost me!)
