Site of the Week: Malvern Hills Club Site
This time of year is fantastic for exploring around Site of the Week, Malvern Hills Club Site. We love this photo taken by Martyn Chandler as part of our photography competition earlier on in the year. Have you stayed here before?

Great site and huge but I dislike the race for HS pitches that occurs at times. Let's have a few more HS and less grass, please.
It's in a lovely area but it did seem rather expensive this year to my mind.

We have booked this site for next week . It is a very nice site in a lovely area . Very good for walks directly from the site. We visit this area and site often it's about one and a half hour drive for us .
I also think it is high priced for this time of year .
Hanley swan has a post office and pub , thus is a nice walk from the site . A five minute drive is Upton on Severn . Well worth a visit . Just a little bit further is malvern , and Worcester .

I would agree, it is a site we have returned to several times. We have been fortunate in getting a HS each time, but we only go out of school holidays.
Over at the far toilet block, there is a lack of any footpaths leading to the block, which results in people cutting across the grass. From these pitches, which are otherwise close to the block, it is a very long way round if you were to use the site roads.
There is space for a footpath, so it would be sensible to provide one.

The Malverns are a favourite with us because we know them from when we were young. We stayed on the site a few years ago with friends (also from the Worcs/Warks area) and enjoyed revisiting places. Top of the list was a walk on the Malverns from the British Camp on the Herefordshire Beacon. Also filling up with Malvern Water from one of the springs and a visit to Elgar's birthplace nearby.
