The club has to be applauded for recognising the need for Motorhomers to feel included. The re-branding costs have been nothing compared to the warm fuzzy feeling and sense of belonging that Motorhomes now have. However, and I am sure this is unintentional, what about those owning the 'block of flats'? i.e. the American Motorhomes and trailers towering above units on an adjacent pitch. In addition, what about the campers with tents and camping trailers? I am sure that with a suitable budget, a consultant could come up with something appropriate. I look forward to the new brand symbols, colour schemes and choice of text that will form the paragraph to encompass us all. In the meantime, I hope that everyone using the club and its facilities will feel included and part of something meaningful. Will this mean that all club site signs will now be changed to 4M X 4M boards to make sure all the text is readable?

I was at a quiz night a few nights ago and persuaded the organiser to insert CMC and CC in the abbreviation section.  Of the 60 or so people participating no one got the CMC whilst about 35 got CC correct.  Not scientific but....it does make me wonder.  surprisedwink

The CMC is the correct initials.----  It can easily be updated in a few years time (when towed caravans eventually die out) to The Campervan and Motorhome Club.---- A clever bit of forward planning by the CMC wink

    cool

Marathon bars were a common confection. When the name was changed to Snickers they seemed to loose popularity and heavy advertising did not really seem to help
