Thetford C250 Toilet

Hi,

Does anyone have a caravan with a Thetford C250 toilet in that they could have a look at something for me please?

I have just bought a new (to us) caravan with this installation but when I went to fill up the flush tank I filled the bathroom instead. I have found the drain bung on the end of a black rubber pipe but as you look in to the holding tank aperture int he top right corner on the upper horizontal surface there is a small hole in the white plastic of the box (behind what looks like it might be the pump) where the water just leaks straight out from the flush tank. Shining a torch up the hole also lights up inside the flush opening flap so should there be some sort of bung in this hole? Could someone please take a photo of this part on their caravan so I can see if I'm missing something obvious. I've looked in the instructions and also at the exploded view of the system online but am still none the wiser.

Thanks in advance.

Chris

Is it where the drain pipe has come off as we had that problem the clear plastic pipe with the black bung had come off so flush water emptied itself

The actual installation depends very much on the caravan make/model/year.

Having said that, it sounds as though your setup is wrong.  Even if you overfill the header tank it should only leak out via the filler hole.

Does the hole look as though it's designed ?  Or could something have punctured it ?
