My Avtex TV remote is playing up. Tried one of those replacement programmable ones but can't find the codes anywhere for it. Any help welcomed.

    I bought a generic remote for a house TV and never did get it to work properly.

    A working one was then purchased, made for the TV, for a couple of pounds more!

    Hope then, where did you obtain the working one EJ? I've tried Avtex for help but they are unforthcoming in any way, most disappointing really given the image they promote.

    I went to the manufacturers website for details and bought off Amazon.

    Google gives lots of options for genuine handsets:-
