Habitation door
Help...my wife wants to put pink friggin solar lights around the outside of the habitation door. I don't..
Do I
1. Divorce her?
2. Carry a hammer and smash them saying a caravan neighbour did it.
3. Give in to keep her happy.
Please please advise...

Invent a technical reason as to why it's not possible. Too much battery drain, wrong voltage, wrong type of lights, no suitable fixing, damage to the van, no spare socket..... Just get your imagination working. It'll be fine.

Pink Solar lights! Cool would be talking point on site and not hard to find after a few jars.
Tinny 'solar lights' even I know they don't drain the battery or need a spare socket
I have a Solar lighthouse that travels with us, the light revolves once it is dark, looks great and it's fun.

Obviously fit them but warn SWMBO that they may have an adverse affect on the TV and maybe even battery drain. Then when she is out remove the TV aerial and unplug the battery charger & solar if fitted so the TV picture is rubbish and will get worse as the battery drains.
When she complains say (in a barely audible voice) I told you so then come up with some great idea on how to fix it. Fiddle about for 30 minutes or so, remove said lights, fix TV and attach battery charger and solar and hey presto you saved the day

When the lights are on at night and the fifteenth bloke has knocked on the door and asked "How much?" she may realise that it wasn't such a good idea after all.
Or leave her at home.
