    Do you get on well with CoPilot?  ... I mean generally, not any 'caravan specific' features.

    I have been using Navmii (free) for some years, and although I find the interface messy, once setup the (audio) directions do work well.

    I recently tried CoPilot (audio on a 7-day free trial) and loved the map display/set-up/interface .....but found the audio directions lacking, especially at roundabouts.

    I have had three sat nav Apps over the years, started with TomTom running on a PDA, then changed to MapFactor also on the PDA and PC when TT stopped supporting stand alone software. Neitherwere without problems for a larger motorhome although MapFactor had its advantages over TT. I change to Co-Pilot, the truck version about 3 years ago and haven't regretted it. It is by far the best sat nav I have had but I do agree voice instructions could be better, especially the pronounciation. You can get different voices, some may be better than others but I have stuck with the default one because I mainly check directions on the screen.

    If anyone has any experience of the Caravan version I would be interested in any comments.

    I am using the standard Copilot and love it. I have been through 2 Garmins, and the built-in satnav in my car. For all of those I needed to bend down to read the screen because the audio description was insufficient instruction.

    In the Copilot, when you switch to 'safety view' all you get on the screen is the instruction and distance to the next junction. Sometimes, if the roundabouts are hot on each other, the audio gets lost but the written instructions are spot on. The safety view means that you don't have to scan the satnav for the relevant info or put on your reading glasses to read it 

    As I said earlier, this is the standard version so there is no real help about low bridges or narrow lanes but I have noticed that, when I have selected caravan, it takes me on an alternative route to avoid steep hills.
