Where's everyone going this weekend. Its the last weekend of the school hols and the forecast isn't bad so before autumn hits us we're off to Penrhos Club site on Anglesey.

Where you guys going (if anywhere) or where are you already?

    We're going to Crossways at the weekend for one night en route to Merrose Farm for 10 night, then back to Crossways on the way home.  It's a long way from here to Cornwall.

    Not this weekend, but next Monday, we're off to "over there".  The land of pitches without white or blue posts.

    Can't wait!

    we, too, 'arrived over there' on Monday 28th and have been in the Vendee, now in Charente-Maritime (i believe) on AD's site on l'île de re.

    just had a lovely cycle into St Martin for a glass of vin.....

    tacking down the west coast of France until we hit Bordeaux, then turn left inland heading towards Sarlat via, amongst other places, Saint-Emillion.

    then a quick dash down to St Tropez (la croix valmer) for a cpuple of weeks chill out......smile

    It's a few years since we were on Ile de Re, and really enjoyed the cycling there.  Also quite a while since we were at St Emilion.

    Really looking forward to getting "over there" on Monday, and to get used to the lifestyle "over there" we'll have a glass (or two!) of vin tonight methinks.....

    Just gone up the M1, turned left for Huddersfield, went north towards Halifax then west to Hebden Bridge.

    Lovely area, can't wait to get out and about over the next few days

    7th-12th Youlgreave C&CC site, 12th-18th Beech Croft Farm,Blackwell.

    Looking forward to returning to the Peak District.

    Newhaven - Dieppe ferry tomorrow morning, then Les Andelys to visit the castle, then a favourite (nostalgic for me) Municipal at Beaumont sur Sarthe, then Chinon, then............? Probably further South chasing the sun.

    We are pitched at Meathop Fell club site in the Lake District 

    lovely site ,great wardens ,and the surrounding area is stunning .

    went over Hard Knott Pass today ,breathtaking scenery ,the road is not for the faint hearted but it is a great drive.

    Back home now, so going nowhere this weekend.  Just back from five and a half weeks out in the caravan: Cornwall, Pembrokeshire, Leek and just N of Leeds.  Had a good time in spite of the weather, but missed France, Germany and Italy this year... perhaps in 2018?

    Having a week at The Woods affiliated site, been fabulous weather until about 30 minutes ago when the rain arrived🌧
