Not so Smart Alternator!

We recently purchased a Mercedes 250 GLC AMG Line SUV and all was great until we hooked up. No Fog lights and no Reversing lights on the van!!. After alot of investigation a very helpful poster on another chat site posted they had a similar problem. We have a Unicorn lll caravan and it has two Reversing lamps and two Fog lamps,the solution was to remove one lamp from each and Hey Presto!!! it works !!

    Try led lamps/bulbs instead, they draw less current so have a better chance of both working. 

    P.S. That is nothing to do with the alternator  wink
