Bradcot Modul-Air help ??
Can anyone given us some advice. Currently away in France, ever morning we are awaking up to the awning been extremely deflated. This morning was nearly on the ground. We are topping up ever night with the foot pump. Could this be due to the change in temperature (around 10oC fluctuation overnight) or could we have a faulty valve. Before this trip we had the awning up for over a week in the Lakes without having to top up at all. Have been really disappointed with this awning since purchasing at the start of summer, not worth the money !!

Likewise I think u have a leak....are u able to pinpoint by closing off the isolating valves if you have any on that awning then you can find out which tube has the problem then take it from there.. are there any YouTube videos that can help if you don't have the instructions...David

Hi again...forgot to mention if you are able to isolate the offending leak and can't repair it just now that leaving it isolated and keeping the other tubes inflated most awnings can still be used til you can fix the problem..hope this helps and I'm not trying to tell you how to suck eggs...David good luck

We don't have any isolating valves on the awning. Will take it to Bradcot when we get back as it's still under warranty and see if the valves are faulty

Mix a bit of washing up liquid and some water in a sqeezy bottle and apply it to the valves and if they are leaking it will blow bubbles,
Just like checking for a gas leak, or take your awning down , put a bit of air in and put the valves in a bucket of water and then squeeze the tubes, if the valves are leaking they will blow bubbles,

Hi, you could try checking the inflation inlet valve. On my Kampa air awning I discovered the connector valve was screwed onto an inner fitting (it was not obvious) and had loosened slightly allowing a slow loss of air. A quick tighten and no leak since! I do realise yours is a Bradcot but you never know!

Check the valves in the inflation points are closed properly. with the screw on dust covers removed you should be able to push the valves inwards against their springs. if you can't do this then push it in and twist it with the end of your finger to close it. It may just be you are relying on the dust cover on one or more inflation points to seal it with some luck.

Hi to the Bush family and hope you're enjoying your holidays (apart from your leak). We've just come back from Cornwall and we had the same problem as you. In the morning about 30 foot pumps and same in the evening. Our awning has just gone back to Bradcot for repair, free p&p. You will be wasting your time trying to get in touch with them at the moment as they are on shutdown and the phone is hardly answered. Our worry is if it's repaired will the legs take a bowed shape and will the same thing happen again. When I did get through to the help line they seem to think it was the air valve as it would go down very quickly if there is a leak. Like you we are totally disappointed with the Bradcot air awning.

Thanks for the info Poggy will contact Bradcot once we're back in the UK and see if they can sort it. We've moved north now and there hasn't been hardly any fultuation in temperature but it's still going down. Think will get to it fixed and trade in for a good old tradition awning !!!!

hi just a quick update on our Bradcot air. Bradcot have now fitted with a new bladder ( no charge ) and all seems fine. We will trade it in for a different air awning, probably a kampa as you can isolate the tubes so it all doesn't totally deflated like the Bradcot. The kampa isn't as good a quality but at least we will have a awning if we get a leak on holiday. Just a quick note Paul from Bradcot helped no end.

Hey just a quick update from us too. We also spoke with Paul who was really helpful, we took our awning back to Bradcot and had a new bladder fitted too. Hopefully this should solve our problems.
