Motorhome owner looking for best electric foldable

there appear to be hundreds of electric foldable bikes out there for sale.  Any member got any recommendations?

    We have bikes made by Volt. British company and very well built. Very good battery life too. Not the cheapest but perhaps one of the best. Would not be without ours!!! Do let us know which ones you end up with.

    i am just about to click over 10,000 km on mine (currently 9985) and have had the bike for 40 mths, Bosch engined crank driven (normal looking) bike

    as this was a 'momentous' occasion in my ebiking life, i thought id play with the numbers to see if this was good use/value.....

    so, 10,000 km for 40 mths is 250km a month.....

    or 10 x 25km trips a month....

    or one 25 km trip every 3 days.

    as this generally includes the 'shopping' and 'social' cycling, we rarely use the car for local trips.

    so, if youre going to use an e-bike as secondary (primary) transport as often as we do (OH probably done a tad more on her ebike) then make sure its comfortable, folder or not....

    That's 5 miles a day. Your annual mileage is more than our 'second' car which is a little over 1,500 a year. Mind you it becomes our 'main' car when at home so whilst at home it averages about 6.125 miles a day.

    I~f your looking for a cheapish folding ebike take a look at Prorider bikes. We've had them for 4 years now and they are still going strong. They get plenty of use as we are away for at least 6 mths of the year, used most days usually 10 - 15 miles, but some days we can do do 30 miles on them.

    You need to narrow it down. Did you not say elsewhere that you wanted folding bikes? We have the same ones as Tammygirl and they suit our purpose for occasional use. Sometimes we take them with us sometimes we don't. For us its not worth spending a kings ransom because of the limited use they get although clearly they are capable of more intensive use as illustrated by Tammygirl. If I were looking for an electric bike for regular long range riding I would not buy a folding one but a full size one with more than seven gears.

    Friends of mine have the folders sold by AS bikes.  He goes to all the main shows.  Good after sales reputation.

    Thank you all for your suggestions.  Now settled for a Powabyke F100.  Its a foldable e-bike and lightweight 17kg including the nicely concealed battery.  Cost £899 plus extras for Swable tyres and a seat change.

    It was important to us to see and try the bike before purchase and we were able to visit Millards Motor Accessories in Bristol and get business owner Dan's guidance as to the most appropriate models for us.  

    We will be taking them (a matching pair for myself and OH) back to Millards for a free general adjustment after six weeks use.
