Anybody any idea how to repair a crack at shower tap in Lunar Quasar 524. It is also a yellowish colour. Would like to fix asap before it starts dripping water to where I cannot see it or dry it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is it the shower lining that has cracked?

l had a Lunar clubman that cracked at the bottom due to a lazy employer that put a screw in the wrong place and didn't remove it. By leaving it in it was touching the back of the shower third time out when we got to site a crack at the the bottom to midway up had appeared, it was done under warranty by the dealer who used a mobile plastic company who put a new side in and hot welded it, ask your dealer l am sure they will know someone that can sort the problem, mind you l guess it won't be cheap

    Good morning NM

    Simple to repair the crack,

Prepair the crack for repair by Ving out the crack and making the area nice and rough using sand paper, this will give the glue something to stick to, then drill a small hole at the end of the crack this will stop it growing.

Using a tube of loctite v5004 ( see pic) fill crack in with a beed of glue in about ten minutes the glue will be cured and crack repaired. If you wanted the glue can be flattened with sand paper for a neater finish.

Loctite v5004 is a structural adhesive much much stronger that anything you can buy in a diy store, just done a search you can buy it online no problem if you do go down my route repair I would recommend buying extra nozzles for the glue as it sets in the nozzle also you would need an application gun for the glue.

    Hope this helps

    Cheers

    Sandy
