    Like the dog picture mines a malamute love the artic breeds mine spends a lot of time with me in the alps in the winter skiing with me well sought off causing havoc on the pistes to be more honest

    I use to be against flying flags, but bought an 'EU' one in Germany this year and now shove it on the front of the van at every opportunity laughing

    Back on topic, can't say I care about flags on site. I have my pitch and family that's all I need

    It doesn't matter the cost of the second car, rules are rules, if your £200000 car is that important put your other car in the carpark😀, as for flags...... what's the problem

    I'm tending to agree with the opening post as the need to wave flags and cover one's van in fairy lights is beyond my comprehension, however I do accept that when one reaches a certain age there is the tendency to regress into a second childhood and appreciate such adornments. laughing

    Club states second car £2 a night in its terms and conditions check it out on the website here but that's another story

    Personally to get over this problem we found that parking the Aston Martin in the garage of the Concorde Liner MH saved all that hassle and worrying.tongue-out

    Problem is you wont be able to go to Spain then, perhaps have a tow bar fitted then you can put your MH on a trailer and drag it behind you.

    If going to Spain I get the car air freighted over. Much less hassle.

    Yes I've served too  , what's the problem......😜 & what's on earth as that got to do with members flying flags .

    I too don't like flags and in that apparent minority who would prefer it if the club disallowed them. if I wanted that I would go to caravan rally's and holiday camps. We are not unsociable but our holidays are for us two to spend (hopefully) quiet time together away from work, family and friends and not have others idea of holiday jollity and what suits them imposed upon us.

    Don't particularly like flags myself, but is it any wonder that the club can't attract younger families when people want them banned because it is a jollity that want to get away from😳

    If people want to have flags, fairy lights, solar lights, bird feeders, I don't care.  They don't bother me....

    Fairy lights are fine, they brighten the place up.   Flags are a bit different as they can be noisy in the wind.  Appearance does not bother me, just noise at night.

    If it became a problem I would point it out to the owner and request they take it down overnight.

    I don't mind fairy lights or Christmas lights. Hate those lights that frantically flash however. Folk that have those outside their van always seem to have blinds down early. Our front blinds are usually open until near 10pm even in winter and so it is likes of us that get the 'benefit'. Not keen on flags for similar reasons. I find them flapping in the corner of my vision an irritation
