Gas not getting through...

Just getting ready for the off tomorrow & discovered we don't have gas getting through to any appliances. Full gas bottle & replaced the regulator as that seemed the likely culprit but no luck. Everything was working well at the end of June when we were last away. Wondering if anyone has any ideas?

do you have to lift the glass lid of the cooker hob to get gas through? if so is it not fully open - this is often our problem

    Putting ideas out there...

    What about isolator below regulator?

Main gas valves in van turned off?

If you've changed regulator, pipes may require 'purging' of air...

    Hope these may help.

I take it when you say "regulator" it is one that "clips" to the top of the cylinder and not the bulkhead fitted type,

Have you tried another cylinder as if it is butane it has not been unknown for the valve to "stick"

My first thought would be gas turned off just beneath regulator. If I had just had a service I might consider individual stop taps turned off.

Under normal circumstances I would always suspect the last thing that was changed.

Funny you should say that...this is what it turned out to be. The lid was open but not quite enough. Usual procedure of lighting the hob to get the gas flowing prior to lighting the fridge. Obviously didn't give it long enough for gas to get through to the fridge & heater before we decided there was a problem. Eventually the fridge & heater were working but not the hob until it was noticed that the lid wasn't quite up...Blue air & red faces.

Thank you everybody for your suggestions.
