Is Membership Auto Renewal?
Hi,
I cannot see any indication that it is within the "my profile" section and no discussion searches have proved either way also.
I would like to confirm that membership renewal is not automated. Please could someone confirm? Is it a case of an email is sent out before expiry and the member simply acts on that email, or doesn't?

There is no auto renewal via a card you may have used. Only a DIrect Debit gives continuous renewal, if you set one up.
You will be contacted in advance - ours comes by post - whether or not you set up a DD.

I pay by Direct Debit and every year I get a letter and my new cards well in advance of the date the money is removed from my account. So if I intended not to renew I would have plenty of time to cancel, assuming of course, I was not away from home when the letter arrived. The Profile you see on here is more to do with this forum and using the website generally rather than membership details.

Just got our new cards this morning and it said the payment goes out in September.
Btw, we haven't had a thread complaining about the image on the cards for a while have we? Sure it will be along soon

I'd need to confirm your details but a quick check tells me your Membership is not on auto renewal (Direct Debit) and is due to renewal now.
The number to call is 01342 318813 to pay by credit or debit card. You can set up a Direct Debit at any time alternatively you can pay in your profile online.
