Can anyone recommend a CL near the M6, but not so near there is road noise, around the level of Blackpool?

Must have hardstandings, good access for a large van, EHU, and preferably but not essentially,  a toilet.

We stayed at Heron's Wood south of Lancaster although it says grass there might be a hardstanding near the owner's house. Worth enquiring about as it's an easy site to reach, we used it travelling north.

    see here

There are others in this area.

Red Rocks Fishery , Higher Walton, Preston (CL892) has hard standings, EHU and a WC. Have not used it for a few years but a friend uses it to visit his daughter in Preston and says  it's still ok. About 2 miles from M6. It does have a rally field which we have used so check no rally when you want to stay.

How about Stoney Leach Nurseries near Chorley.

I think that this is the link:-  https://www.caravanclub.co.uk › ... › Lancashire › Chorley › Stoney Leach Nurseries

Thanks everyone, good to get suggestions as not all CLs have photographs, and some do not have many reviews either.

Will take a look at all those.

We have booked Bryars Farm, reasonably  convenient for M6 and reviews look good.

Glad you've got fixed up with somewhere, Kjell. Please let us know what you think of the site and how easy it was to tow there.
