Refillable Gas bottles and brands
There's an increasing interest in the virtues and uses of refillable gas bottles now that fuel stations have been officially told that they're not allowed to turn approved brands away. Obviously these are not for all, so I'm not inviting posts about people's own reasons for using or not using these things in general, but more specific up to date information, please:
Discussions here are dominated by Safefill. I know of Gaslow but get the impression that's only for more built-in systems, usually in MH's, and we're currently using the old style bottles strapped into the caravan front locker.
Are there now other useful brands of bottles to be taken out of caravan lockers and refilled, or is Safefill The One True Way?
Thanks

Beat you to it Hedgehurst! Several have contributed on the other thread about various systems so no Safefill isn't the only one - just happens to be the one I have and Merve too. I have listed my reasons for chosing it and another one is that so far as I have noticed Caravan shops are stocking AND filling them - at least two I know do - that is Brayford Caravans in Lincoln and Jackson's of Old Arley. I bought mine at Jackson's - one by post and one in person which they filled - and filled at Brayford several times. In case that doesn't read right the one that came through a carrier came empty!
