Towing covers

Hi,

I hope somebody can help me. I have just purchased a generic towing cover from Pro-Tec for my 2012 Lunar Clubman SB. I have not offered it up to the caravan yet, as it's pretty wet down here, but I was wondering about the fact I have a rail on the front of the caravan above the window that juts out from the caravan a couple of centimetres each side, presumably to stop water running down the sides of the caravan. Can anybody tell me if this interferes with the fitting of the towing cover please? I did give Pro-Tec the make and registration of the caravan when I ordered the cover. I'd be grateful for any replies from more qualified members than me.

Many thanks

Nick

We have the same thing (as I guess do most) our tow cover comes to just that point, we can have it just above the rail, but fine it easier to offer it up in line with the rail (just under) and have a little more down the bottom.

Many thanks for that. I did think that may be the case, but it's good to hear from somebody else who has had the same experience.

The rails should make no difference Nick. I have them on a Bailey and the tow cover goes over them!
