    Never did own a Cona, although have to agree they were by far the most impressive.  Next best were the cast aluminium Italian pressure ones that you put on the hob.

    I love 'machines' and have owned numerous ones all claiming to make perfect coffee over the years.

    I eventually realized that although I love the smell of coffee brewing, I don't actually like drinking the stuff.....however madeembarassed

    We take a tassimo machine with us, it fits on the front shelf and works well for us, pods available on line or supermarkets.

    it is lightweight transports in the original box and has proved reliable.
