Received an e-mail: 'Build skills and confidence with a
towing and manoeuvring course
Whether you are an experienced tourer or a beginner setting out on your first trip, our towing and manoeuvring courses are designed to help build your confidence when touring so you can enjoy your trip to the full.

Learn at your own pace in a relaxed, informal atmosphere with friendly instructors who understand your needs. We have a wide range of venues across the UK with dates available to book now, so what are you waiting for!

Plus you can save 5% on Club caravan or car insurance once you complete a course*.'

I have been towing since 1971. As far as CC membership I joined around that time but had a break for a couple of years and hence my CC card shows me as a member for 12 years. How likely is it that I need a confidence boost I wonder??

Very similar to you EasyT except I started in 1966 probably joined th Club in '67 with a few breaks since then.  If I had money to splash I would probably do the course from interest but no thanks.

We got it too. I might be interested as I don't get to drive our motorhome often. Our nearest place is a minimum of 2.25 hours so defeats the object! I might as well just drive around myself and try to find an empty car park, if one can find such a thing! Too much rubbish coming through from the club emails almost daily, or it feels like it.

You can opt out of e mails, I get enough already so I don't want any more.wink

(You'll still get your booking confirmations but that's about all.)
