Water pressure on fully serviced pitches
I was at a private site in cornwall last week and was speaking to the owner about water pressure supplied direct to the caravan he had the pressure turned down to what he said was the correct pressure and it worked perfectly no leeks or problems of any kind , I switched it on at the beginninģ of our stay and of at the end of our stay without any problems . The point I am making is that I think the water pressure on most sites is to high and should be turned down to the correct pressure .

Water pressure varies over the whole of the country and on a caravan site can vary from tap to tap depending on the length of pipe runs so to 'standardise' pressure is not an option.
Because of this water should not be piped directly into a caravan without a pressure reduction valve on the caravan itself. The problem with these reducers is that they tend to reduce it too much and the water flow in the caravan is consequently not good. These pressure reducers are intended to stop the real possibility of leaks within the caravan. The preferred method I s the type that has a domestic style valve in the side entry point of the Aquaroll which can then be connected directly to the mains water supply, whatever the pressure. Constant pressure in the caravan is then maintained by whatever the pump delivers.
