Despite it looking as if the heavens would open all day it hasn't.

Holiday dog collected by the whole family about an hour ago. Completely mad 😲 he was so pleased to see them. He's been ready for them for a couple of days but no problem Feels quite already, no dog to accompany you at the slightest movement. No incentive for more long walks, there always a reason not to go for a walk, usually household chores and I ain't keen on them 😲😲

Have a lovely weekend with your son Helen. We stocked up with toilet fluid at Aldi as well. Pouring with rain here as well. 😕 I'm sure your new bathroom will be lovely when it is finished. 😁

The best place to get your Truma Motor Mover fixed would be the Truma factory in Derbyshire. You would need to phone them first to make an appointment. You could perhaps include a few days holiday in the Peak District. I think that area was featured in last months club magazine so you could get some ideas from that.

Last time we went there, they fixed both aircon and motor mover both under warranty and gave us a free breakfast whilst we waited.

Normal weight for my height is 71 to 78 kilos, so 80 is not too bad!

To have a BMI at the upper range of 'normal' at 78kg you need to be 1.8m high. Just under 6ft

We've just got back from a drive along the sea front into Worthing. Plenty going on there. Lots of market stalls all along the Promenade near the pier. There's also a Classic Car show in Steyne Gardens. We stopped to buy some vegetables and then returned along the sea front.

We were tempted to park in the multi storey car park and stay a bit longer but I needed to save some energy for tonight's work rota as I'm doing five hours from 6 to 11 p.m.

The weather has been nice all morning but the forecast says heavy rain this afternoon. There's a notice outside reception saying site full.

We contacted them and they said to use our local dealer, going to ring dealer on Monday to ask if they can do repairs.

Otherwise, we had the Truma place in mind.  September tour booked, but could alter it slightly.  I would rather have it fixed before we go though as we do use it a lot.  Essential here at home as van goes hitch first on the driveway.

Dry and windy today. More decorating, OH now involved as its ceilings to be painted. I do the coving he follows on with the roller, kitchen now had 1 coat and drying, second coat will go on later this afternoon.

Dining room curtains in the washing machine, can only do 1 at a time as they are big heavy curtains. Think I will be looking for new ones but not got the time at the moment so they can go back up until I see something I like.

OH has decided to sell the Trike, he's been back to the specialist again who is talking about an op if his shoulder doesn't improve over the next couple of months. I think he will end up getting it done as he can hardly lift his left arm up above shoulder height.

H&T we did our bathroom quite a few years ago and its still one of my favourite rooms, was hard work at the time but so worth it, OH put in underfloor heating which I love. We've never tackled a kitchen like you did so if you can do that a bathroom should be a walk in the park for you wink

They suggested that to me at first but I told them that I would prefer to bring it to their factory because it would take two trips to the local dealer, the first one to assess what was wrong, then they would have to order the parts, more waiting, then to book it in again once the parts were ready.

If you ring them back and say that you would prefer to bring it to them, they will arrange a time and date for you to do so.

When I tried through a mobile dealer, they weren't interested and said that they don't get paid enough to make it worth their while. So if you used a local dealer, you might have to take it to them.

Yes, we would have to take it to them, about 30 miles each way, but we could leave it with them till they get the parts, depending of course on how long it would take to get the parts!

Day started sunny so decided to tidy up the front garden, had a couple of plants left to plant from our visit to Colegraves.

Wasn't sure if youngest son wouldl turn up today as they are also spending time with his girlfriends family.

Rain has now arrived, at least new plants won't need watering.smile

Tammygirl,  hoping doing the bathroom ourselves won't be too bad after the kitchen. We only had help from carpenter friend with the kitchen worktops and gas safe engineer to do the hob, did everything else. I did suggest underfloor heating, but we aren't having tiles now.

Managed to get some plants I'd grown from seed into the garden, lots of Penstemons, very easy to grow! Now I hope they'll carry on growing well after all my efforts. Lots of rain will save me watering things. Otherwise a lazy day after a busy week. Saw the cat with something in his mouth, called him and a bird flew out...that was a relief!

Saturday evening slumped on the sofa isn't too bad in this weather.  smile

Exciting day in the Cathedral today - very big wedding. Bride the daughter of an Earl, bridegroom a member of The Blues and Royals so a Guard of Honour. About 800 people, lots of security. Luckily the weather kept fine for them. I expect they are all beyond caring that it is pouring with rain now. laughing
