Godrevey - non awning pitches

Are there any non awning pitches at Godrevey? I was wanting to book a pitch at the end of the season and rather than have a brown possibly muddy patch of a pitch which most if not all end up looking like at the end of the season, I though I would book a nice green non awning pitch if favourably located. Looking at the site layout details, none are shown but the booking systems indicates they are available, so where are they?

    I don't think there are any, PD. Be aware that the whole site is grass with not a HS to be seen. However, it's sand based and quick draining apart from some parts on lower ground adjacent to the road. The pitches are fairly level and you can often avoid using wedges by shuffling a bit.

    Thanks TW, I have stayed on the site before but don't know where the none awning pitches are.

    The club doesn't seem to have updated their site details well, eg Baltic Wharf still has non existent grass pitches. undecided

    My advice ring the site the wardens should be able to help, as you say it shows you can book non awning but site plan does not show any strange.

    On thinking about it, the wardens often move the pitch marker pegs to even out wear and tear on the grass and that's a further indication that non-awning pitches don't exist because the layout is flexible.
