    Hmm, so how is it that when The Management has headache she can't do anything else.........?

    Ah but there are headaches and 'the' headache, but that's a different matter and totally irrelevant to whether the fridge stays cool.

    I often wonder whether the fridge could be combined with an air conditioning unit. Of course, you would need a bigger absorption unit and ducting but the basic unit does the same job. You would then be able to run the ACU on gas or mains.

    Even more to the point, think of all the heat the fridge is wasting to the outside.....especially in winter when you are heating the inside of the 'van....and therefore making the fridge work even harder.

    We really should be using the heat-pump approach to move heat and cold to where we want rather than throwing either away to the atmosphere.
