I have a Avtex Garmin CAMPER 660 sat nav and would like to know how to download caravan club sites onto it, I have rang Garmin and they did not want to know as it was bought through Avtex. I met a lady on site last week who had exactly the same model and hers was already downloaded. Does anyone know how to do this as I am not really computer minded. Thank you.

It will depend what system it uses. On some sat navs the downloaded files can just be dragged into the map folder. On other types you have to use a special program which you need to download.

The first step is to download the POI's from this link https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/uk-holidays/planning-your-route/satellite-navigation-downloads/ With a Windows sytem download them to the desktop, sorry don't know how to do it with Apple products.

I found this YouTube video which might help with adding them to your device https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y59DJvIUehI

My Avtex Camper came with them downloaded but if you go through the menus you may have to tick the boxes - I have ACSI ones on as well.  Please don't do what I did and thought it was properly programmed to get you to the sites - it isn't - you still need the Club directions from the book - or online.  Prime example is St David's where the Sat Nav claims the site is in the middle of the statics on the opposite side of the road!  It's a learning curve but I do like it!
