hi everyone first timer lol to motor home ownership i have a vw transporter t5 yr 2004 just finding my way around it at the mo so and tips or advice most welcome many thanks janette x

    I  know  this  Club  Site  is  supposed  to  be  slow,  but  to  be  the  first  response  after  13  days   surprised!!

    Hello and welcome to CT and our great hobby.  I hope the lack of response hasn't put you off? I hadn't seen this either. This site can be slow but generally members are swift to welcome and answer questions! 

    One assumes by now you've been getting to grips with your purchase and hopefully even had a try out in it? If you haven't been to try it out for real yet might I suggest using a local site, so you can nip back home for anything vital you didn't pack and just to make sure everything works as it should and you can go back to the dealer if there's an issue, assuming you used a dealer. Generally it's best to buy as you need not get carried away buying stuff that's very soon demoted to the spare room/shed/garage!

    Search facilities on this site aren't great so if you have a question start a new thread to pose it and hopefully you'll get answers. Fingers crossed a similar delay won't be involved 😔😂

    Like the others I seem to have missed this thread, have you been out on a first trip yet?  If not local for the first time is a good idea.
