Great holiday /inconsiderate members

Just back from a fab 2 weeks in Incleborough fields club site in Norfolk .We got a great pitch and the wardens were great.my only gripe is not with the club or the wardens that do fantastic work but some of the members. For a start I think some of the members do acrobatics in the toilet. How they manage to dirty the toilet not just in the bowl but up the walls and all over the seat is beyond belief ! The worst bit is they then leave it for someone else to discover. There is such things as brushes. My next one is something that happened last year as well as this. We seem to have people going round looking at pitches ,then placing a sign saying pitch occupied then moving on round the site putting one in each pitch they like the look of then having the pick of what they fancy. I feel this is unfair and this year I observed a lady with a "motorhome in this pitch" sign jumping out of a caravan.Like everyone else I do the right thing taking my chances .These people  are inconsiderate and cheat the system .

    I have moved this from stories into discussions. This is a moan, maybe a perfectly justified one but not what the story section is for.

    Sadly we just have to "rise above" such stuff and embrace the good!  Are there some people out there wishing to "soil" the clubs reputation?  I arrived at one site when the office was closed so patiently waited - the opening was late - and the lady warden when she arrived demanded to know if I had been in the facility block.  Seems the phantom dauber had been in and wrecked the cleanliness.  Unbelievable really.  Said Warden and I became firm friends once she knew I was not guilty!  There are surely some weird people out there!

    A sad reflection on modern life, of how self centred we have become. Going around blocking pitches until you find the one you want in my opinion  reinforces that the membership is made up of people that are snobs and play oneupmanship.

    Having said that the club does a great job and the wardens are only to be admired.

    I'd be very surprised if you managed to anything other than necessary in some of Incleborough's toilet cubicles, let alone acrobatics. They were the narrowest cubicles of any CC site I've visited. cool

    There is always a small minority who are kn*bs and the CMC membership is no different.

    The key is how they are dealt with.
