    The maximum you can tow is 1300Kg, so your rig would be illegal.

    I thought that, unlke when considering recent driving licences, that it was actual weights that pertained. Is that not the case??

    Quite a journey from us trying to solve jockey wheel catching to you maybe having to get a new car!surprised  A Ford Kuga or VW Tiguan would seem to fit.  I tow a caravan 1362kgs MPTL with a Tig.
