HI,

WHY DOES NO USED CARAVAN DEALER EVER ADVERTISE THE FACT THE VAN HAS A MANUAL, WHAT DO THEY DO WITH THEM.

    I think the problem is many owners simply throw them away after they get used to the caravan and dealers do not ask for them when taking in part exchanges. When we traded in our last caravan the dealer was amazed to get all the literature for all the equipment, the manual and the servicing records. They should ask for these before agreeing the deal, when we traded the car in the dealer certainly wanted them.

    Both my used caravans have, in fact they have had all the manuals for everything fitted. You can ,in most cases, download them as PDF from the manufactures website if that helps.

    Monty most manuals can be found online. Good Luck. 

    Friendly advice - it is considered shouting to TYPE IN CAPITAL letters.

     Enjoyed several days at  BALA LAKE  (shouting cus it's good ! )  Drive through busy Bala village  site 2 miles lake side pitches if no H.U required, we got by on "gas" and 12 volts. ( No porridge via microwave. ) No worries, sun shone, folk around were "happy- chatty folk"  west midlanders. 85 year old Biker on a 650 cc Honda.   Loved it---going back soon, take a kayak.

    Just purchased a new Hymer Eriba Nova 580 GL the manual is in German, could anyone allow me a link to get this in English.

    We not only received the caravan manufactures manual with our second-hand van but all of the individual components manuals as well.
