Hi everyone,

This discussion is for CL owners to post any late availability for their site in 2017, so if you're looking for a last minute getaway on one of our beautiful CL Sites, don't forget to check here first. 

 

Edit: we have an issue with the previous discussion so I'm starting this afresh.

    Hello from sunny South Cheshire!

    We're a newer CL so have ample availability for July, August and September.  Being new means that most of our guests this year have not only enjoyed our location and stunning views (such as tonights sunset from the site - see the attached photo), but also the added tranquility of having a rural site entirely to themselves - away from the madding crowds!

    We're a rural site, a short walk from the local quaint and historic village of Wrenbury on the Llangollen canal and only 4 miles from the nearby market town of Nantwich.  It's ideal for relaxing breaks away but still being close enough to walk to the village shop or our local award winning pubs.

    There are often local events going on in the area from this weekends excellent acoustic music night at the local Cricket Club, through to the internationally reknown Nantwich Show toward the end of the month http://nantwichshow.co.uk/  

    For any none-caravanning friends we also have a holiday cottage in the form of Pinsley Corner Barn

    Looking for somewhere to stay next week - on Friday 21 & Saturday 22 of July?   We have just had a cancellation and would welcome members to our CL here in Buckinghamshire.  Dogs welcome. Free WiFi. Outstanding views. EHU etc.

    Our most recent review said: What an absolutely super site. Although on a slight slope, there is an adequate supply of blocks available and no problems siting caravans or motorhomes. The site is easy to access from the M40 and once you are on site, there is total tranquility all around. Security is superb (two lots of key-code gates to enter) and super fast wi-fi (free) on site. Nature lovers and walkers are well catered for with plenty of walks without crossing any roads and a constant wonderful display by the red kites overhead. Fresh eggs available on site. The owners come round every morning to check all is well, a nice touch. 

    Do come and stay at Cholsey Grange.  Easy to book online via the website where's there's loads of info on places to go, walks etc.

    We are experiencing our busiest-ever year for bookings, perhaps this is the 'staycation' that the media is talking about, or maybe because we charge £12 per night including EHU, with no charge to use our Wi-Fi.

    Having said that, we have a vacancy arriving from this Saturday15 July until departure on Friday 21 July.  We also have vacancies towards the end of this month.

    This is a peaceful site and Ellesmere is a great place from which to explore North Shropshire, Cheshire and North Wales.

    The CL is dog-friendly and surrounded by green fields and rolling hills.  In the locality you will find canals, lakes, castles, National Trust historic houses & abundant bird-life.  The historic cities of Chester and Shrewsbury are nearby.

    We are about an hour from Liverpool, Manchester and the north-side of Birmingham.

    We are in the heart of the Welland Valley with spectacular view for miles around.  Open 365 days a year exclusively to Caravan Club members welcoming caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents to our generously sized pitches.    

    We are just a 5 minute walk to Cottingham village where you will find our local pub The Royal George serving great food with a warm welcome children and friendly dogs on a lead are welcome.  We also have a village store and Cafe serving homemade cakes, drinks and light bites.  A further 5 minutes walk to Middleton and you will find The Red Lion pub and steak house again children and friendly dogs on lead welcome.

    The walking locally is excellent with well marked paths and bridleways through our beautiful countryside.  Many local attractions including Rockingham Castle, The Landrover experience, Rockingham Raceway and Rutland water are all worth a visit.  Or you may choose to just relax on site and enjoy the view.

    Hi
    I run a CL on the edge of the beautiful village of South Newington in North Oxfordshire (north Cotswolds) surrounded by open countryside.
    It is a private, secluded, peaceful site surrounded by mature native trees, shrubs and hedges on all sides. The site including the wooded areas extends to 1.8 acres of which the maintained grassed pitching area is 0.8 acres, this allows spacious non-designated pitches. Visit our website

    I have availability for this weekend and rest of July and August, book to stay and you may even have the whole site to yourself!

    The site is a well maintained “Off Grid” site (non EHU) come and give it a try. For “non EHU virgins “There is free use of a Solar Charging unit with 5a 240v outlets for things like charging tooth brushes, phones, computers etc. So gain your freedom and give us a try!

    Just coming up to our first anniversary of opening and Gate Farm (Solihull) CL currently has spaces throughout the summer. Hard standings and EHU in a lovely rural setting with fabulous views but with every kind of amenity and attraction close by. Handy for National Exhibition Centre (15 mins), Kenilworth, Coventry, Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon.

    Last minute cancellation here too! We now have availability from Sunday 23 July for 5 nights, departing Friday 28th.

    Also, limited availability from Sunday 13th August until Friday 25th August.

    For £13/night you get a lawned site with 5 level hardstandings, free WiFi, dog walk around our fields, EHU, coded access gates with 24 hour CCTV and an information hut packed with leaflets of ideas for places to visit etc.

    We have a few gaps in our diary here on our CL Near Bude, North Cornwall.  We have a pitch available from Tuesday 2nd August leaving on Sunday 13th August and one pitch available for August Bank Holiday (from Thursday 24th August)  These dates have arisen due to last minute cancellations.     From 13th August, we have some availability on our site.  Near Skegness, but in beautiful peaceful surroundings, our site offers a place where you can relax, soak up the peace and quiet, as well as providing a good base to tour the local attractions. Skegness is 15 minutes away and the beautiful picturesque Lincolnshire Wolds are 4 miles away. The Lincolnshire wildlife centre is one mile on the same road.  Being 10 minutes walk to the centre of the village, with its well stocked shop and bus stops, convenience is on the door step. Well behaved dogs and children welcome. at £9 per night including EHU or £55 for 7 nights.

    Motorhomes and caravans welcome. We do not charge any extras.

    Since taking over the CL at Smith's Farm, Olney, North Buckinghamshire during last winter, we have been pleased to welcome visitors both old and new to our level and peaceful site with horses, and sometimes sheep grazing in the surrounding paddocks.

    Hello,

    We have had a last minute cancellation for our Hall Farm CL site in the beautiful location of north west Norfolk. Our CL pitches are all hard standing and have a 3 point service system.

    The dates we have available are from today 25th JULY until 29th JULY.

    There are lots of things to see and do within the local area. The 136th Sandringham Flower show is taking place tomorrow and is definitely worth a visit.

    I've just taken a call to cancel a 25 night stay which was due to begin this Monday.  They'd forgotten about the booking and only remembered when my pre-arrival email was arrived!

    So, I now have availability from Monday 31st July through until Friday 25th August if anyone is interested.  I turned down a 9 night booking a couple of days ago....

    This cancellation "lark" seems to have developed into an epidemic. Hope that CL owners are communicating the culprits to each other so that they can take the appropriate action..

    We are a CL in central Cornwall close to the Eden project at Frenton Farm Whitemoor. We are an adults only CL and have plenty of spaces for August & September Look us up on page 308 in the directory.A warm welcome awaits you.

    Due to a visit being cut short I have a space on my Greenacres CL (630) from today (1st August) until the 5th inclusive. Due to 3 cancellations totaling 21 nights I now have pitches available on the Greenacres Farm CL (631) from the 10th of August right through to the 6th of September inclusive.

    We are located within walking distance of Bibury (3/4 mile to the pub!) nr Cirencester in the Cotswolds. All pitches have a tap and EHU.
