Lost Truma heater cover
Ok it's my own fault. After a week off grid using our Truma water heater on gas and removing the flue cover as instructed I guess I failed to clip it back on securely. The inevitable happened and we lost it on the journey home. My gripe is, I cannot believe the replacement cost of a simple plastic moulding, £30 plus on eBay.
So, if anyone is breaking a Swift Challenger 550L or similar. My cover is probably flat as a pancake somewhere between Weymouth and Ilminster.

Truma have recently doubled the price of the older style flue cover. You might find a dealer with stock at the old price. It is now almost as cheap to replace the terminal and the newer style cover!

It's only a box to keep the muck out. It shouldn't be beyond the wit of man to make one for a whole lot less than £30.

I wonder if we really need to cover them? The thingies that hold my cover in place are now missing but so far I haven't lost it! I have a spare as I thought I had lost it a few years ago - and it didn't cost more than £10 - but surely if we just bung the hole to stop birds nesting in it - all will be well?
