Have tried 3 times this morning to post site reviews for Ryecroft Farm and 3 times unsuccessful.  I thought all reviews had been sorted but are there any other sites that can't be reviewed.  Have dropped a line to Rowena to pass on to IT.

    I had the same problem Oneputt. I tried several times to leave a review of a new CL we visited,Kirby Farm.  It would let me do the review but wouldn't actually post it and it didn't appear. I emailed Rowena and reply said it would be passed onto IT. Heard nothing since.frown

    I kept trying over a week, using different ways. Finally managed it after many attempts.  It could be why some CL'S don't have any reviews? I have a couple of reviews to do this week so will see if they work! 

    Perhaps someone from the club IT department will have an answer!   undecided

    I did a review yesterday (but OH typed it, as he is faster!)  It's the first time we've done a review, so he thought he'd submitted it ....  it didn't appear though, so we thought that perhaps it needed to be 'vetted' before being published?  Perhaps not then undecided

    I had a reply from Rowena and review for this site is now working.

    I've also tried leaving reviews for two cl's we have stayed at, one at Easter one about 6 weeks ago and after typing a long positive review and posting it .....nothing!! I have tried a few times since but again nothing so I have given up. I feel this is such a disservice to cl's who in my opinion (the ones we have tried) try hard to please us all with our likes and dislikes.

    Our review still hasn't appeared frown

    Oh well, it seems to have been a waste of time trying to put a review on, so we won't bother again!

    Please try again lynruby we need reviews to help us choose.  If you fail again send a copy to Rowena to get it published!  smile

    Pippah, we've just tried to re-submit our review.  There is no message to confirm that the review has actually been submitted.  Should we have a confirmation message, or do we just wait?

    Ths website really is awful. I left a review about  3 days ago and it worked first time so there doesn't seem to be any consistency.

    Noticed about half of my reviews hav disappeared.

    Apologies LR, my post meant to say reviews are not vetted prior to publication.  Looks like there are even more problems posting reviews than the club admits to.

    Lynnruby your review should appear after posting,  no confirmation. Just out of interest has the CL you are reviewing got any others?  I ask because I had problems posting a review on a new CL which had no reviews,  but no problem when posting reviews on sites that already had some.

    Like Pippah says keep trying cl reviews are useful.

    Thanks Helen.  There are no other reviews on the CL we were trying to review.  However, it seems that there were reviews before the website was b******d up/changed/improved?

    If you look on my thread FAO nelliethehooker....you will see that he had previously reviewed the site, but his review has disappeared!

    It seems to be that the problem with leaving a review is on sites that have haven't already got any, either new ones, or ones the club "lost"in the so called updated website.

    I have not had an update from my email either,  other than it has been passed to IT. I did manage to finally get my review to poSt but it took several attempts yell It's not much help to the CL'S affected either, as most people would probably just give up trying!!

    The site I was trying to review had no previous reviews that's why I contacted the club.  Presumably IT enable a fix so was finally able to post.

    We shouldn't be having to contact the club, or wait for IT to fix things!!

    Why can't we just post a site review?

    Should be a simple job to write and post a review. 

    These days nothing surprises me on this website. I haven't left reviews of club sites because they've lost lots of CL reviews, my protest!

    However I have had 'delight' of completing a surveys of our two recent stays. Surprise surprise it takes age cos it's soooo slow. One of the questions asked if the weather affected your stay. Don't tell me they're going to sort that as well. They may just have more success with that than the new improved website 😉😂😂😂.  Incidentally you can't comment on that bit it is just three choices for better, none, or for worse. Believe me I tried out of curiosity.
