Not that I`m a grass but having just return from a short break I was just a bit peeved when I saw a fellow camper washing his motorhome on his pitch, not only that but he connected his hose to the nearby service point to wash it down. Having passed my Lantra test as I have been a volunteer at club sites for 14 years (no certificate yet only waited 6 weeks) I was very surprised to see the warden mowing the grass with no gloves on or ear defenders. Rules for some !.

    "Not that I`m a grass"

So why post it and bring it to everyone's attentionundecided

I'd better be more careful in a couple of weeks then when I'm at the Henley on Thames site when I wash all the muck of the front of my Caravan after the journey there. cool

The warden had lent the ear defended to the motor caravan owner so he would not hear members complaining about his rule breaking.

Me?  I'd just take a picture for reference and go wash my caravan.

Perhaps you'd enlighten us as to Lantra, Chens, as we're not all in the know, and tell us what the warden said when you pointed all this out to him.

Better still the surfers were washing their wet suits in the Motorhome service point drinking water. Another guy kept taking his Black Labrador into the toilets. Another user did put him right but he was not a happy chappy.  Where -St Davids, When this Monday/Tue.

Well I have yet to go on a club site without seeing someone told off, usually me. This weeks crime was heinous. My husband plugged his mobility scooter battery into a spare socket. The warden phoned head office it was such a misdemeanour. We  never argue & are seriously polite. Thankfully we were given a lengthy explanation of how we had only paid for one socket & if we did it then all the owners of electric cars could follow suit and then the club would facing a serious problem. Perhaps made worse by losing my membership fees.

I have a dog that is walked off site always, never barks. I clean the closet thingy after emptying the cassette etc etc. 2,750 miles in France & spain last year. Not told off once. Two visits to the IOW on private sites. No black  marks.

10/10 to the club for their rigorous  upholding of standards.

Here you are Three Way Splitter  You can charge your Hybrid car as well. All from the comfort of your own pitch.

There was a post a while back I recall when it was stated the club didn't have an issue with people charging hybrid cars on pitches. ?

I suppose you don't wear a tie either, like those slovenly MPs.
