Fridge vents should have two cream slotted retaining screws - one each end. You need large flat blade screwdiver or coin - rotate90 degs and panel should be released. Prise off with same screwdiver andcshould expose fridge access cavity.

Indeed they have, but which position is the "open" one? I have tried gently in both positions and now need to know the correct one to be a bit forecful.

I fitted two computer fans to our Bailey Valencia and found it easier at the top (extracting air rather than blowing). Simplest way is to run a cable along the back of the locker so that it comes up near the 12 volt socket then plug in as needed.
Thought I would do the same on our Motorhome but the Thetford fridge is brilliant and stayed cold when the interior temperature was 35 deg. C.

you shouldnt have your fridge covers on now in this glorious weather...only when it gets down to around 8 deg...
i havent had mine on for months, we rarely get those sort of temps here in the south west, i may use them on pur New Year trip....
however, if ypur thinking about getting into the back of the fridge its not just the covers that meed to be removed but the supporting grill as well.
from memory, the Dometic have the sliders as mentioned above.

My 2007 Dometic certainly does not have any black clips. It does however have two of the same quarter turn locks that are fitted to the covers. But neither position seems to be a release.
I just want in there to clean, and to look at how the waste heat from the fridge could be used to heat the van in winter on EHU.

As you turn the slotted button you will notice that it becomes loose, so it can actually be pulled right out if you want to. Just slip a knife blade behind The head of the button but gently - you'll see what I mean. Once they are both loose you can give the bottom edge of the panel a bit of a tug and it will pop out.

Well done that man!
With slot vertical they will pull out with flat nose pliers. Panel pulls out at that edge and then has to be pulled across to clear lugs at other end.
All sorts of muck in behind. Think I'll start fiting at least the lower cover when towing.
