Curtsey light floor lower entrance door
l have a Coachman 460 VIP and have just noticed that when you put the light on as you come in the door, their is a small light at floor level. l take it its to help see when you use the step. The switch also controls the light over the mirror but when you switch off the mirror, light goes out but the lower switch stays on, the only way l can switch it off is to switch the main lighting switch on the main control panel off. Am l missing something does it have a timer on it, doesn't seem to have as l have never seen it go off

Curtsey! That's a bit formal, isn't it?

I wood probably bough.
Heethers. If the mirror light to which you refer is for a mirror in the bathroom I can only assume there's some wiring fault. Is the 'van new to you and this has only recently happened or has it been like that for some time?
I can only guess that perhaps there's some corrosion or damp at or around the mirror switch or a junction box causing a circuit fault but that seems highly improbable.
Very strange.

No its the mirror near the door, sorry about the spelling mistake, l was trying to explain what type of light it, was meant courtesy didn't notice the spell check and put curtsy in. The caravan is booked in for a loose contact on the master control panel so l will get them to look at it. l thought maybe someone with a 460 VIP new if their was another switch somewhere

Hope you get it sorted as I know how irritating or perhaps worrying these 'undocumented features' can be.
I assumed your predictive texture () was to blame for the curtsy. I bought a new Samsung Galaxy Tablet a couple of weeks ago and the predictive text almost drove me mad until my son removed it for me.

Yep Spriddler that was the cause but some on this forum take glee out of silly spelling mistakes. back to the light in question can't understand why the switch near the door switches it on but doesn't switch it off. It might be on a timer and l haven't left it long enough will try today
