Shower fittings in older caravan

I have a 2001 compass corona which has the standard shower as fitted. I would like to fit standard shower fittings, like those fitted on home showers. is this plausible?

  I think that you need to clarify what you mean by 'standard fittings' on your home shower. Do you mean the shower rose or what? What are you thinking of replacing?
