    I found this website and I also saw an older Avocet for sale with a Dorema Awning.

    The caravan company in Leicester used to sell them secondhand, they have closed down but there are other caravan company sites about so you could try them.

    There are other caravan dealers that sell secondhand bits and bobs from vans that are to old for them to retail, might be worth an internet search on that basis.

    They might have a older item for you some dealers even have a camp site close by so you can try before you buy, they will be a bit more expensive than E-bay but you might get lucky and find what you are looking for

    OK so bit the bullet and went out at the weekend to buy a new one at Glossop now if it doesn't fit its down to them! So we will see after the 17th of the month how well it fits

    No help but we had a Mayfly then an Avocet.

    Due to the roof and sidewall connection/construction the awning rail is, as you know, lower than most.

    We only ever used a small porch/winter awning over many years and the problems weren't as obvious as the height numbers suggested.
