Home and Contents Insurance
We are up for renewal soon and so did the usual comparison site search. I was really surprised to find that my current insurer only covers me for 60 night away per year. (I thought it was 60 night in one go!) Decided to ask the Club for a quote. Not only was it the cheapest compared with the Uswitch quotes I got, but it covers me for 90 nights at any one go - and after returning home, you are then covered for further periods of 90 nights. When I spoke to the repesentative from the CAMC on the phone, he said that all the policies they offer are for maximum periods of 90 nights (sometimes these come as addition to the schedule)
It's really worth checking the number of nights you are 'allowed', especially for us caravanners who like to get out and about whenever we can.
Thank you CAMC for sorting this out for us today.

We have been with the club home insurance for the last 3 years but not this year. We have changed to SAGA, 60 days standard cover, as many times as you like throughout the year, you can increase it to however many days you wish for very little extra at any time during the policy.
In our case the SAGA met all the things we required and it was £126 cheaper. I had to do battle with the club to get my money back as they had taken it out of my CC 9 days prior to its renewal date, not happy with that. We never received anything in the mail and although they said an email had been sent we have no knowledge of it.
