Just back from a trip - very hot. The fridge stopped working on 240V. It kept going and stopping for 20 seconds and then re starting. This happened continuously, but it did not cool down. The red warning light seem to flash constantly at 1 second interval. Now driving home it works when the M/H engine is working, even having frost in the freezer section. ThE RCD is  OK as is the fridge fuse. Any ideas and solutions please

We had a similar problem with a waeco fridge last year, it kept going and stopping as you describe, but with an intermittent green light I think. Ours was due to the leisure battery not having enough charge, (we were not on EHU at the time).

If you go to the online manual there is a section that gives you the light codes to diagnose the problem.

    Hope this helps.

The fridge Thermostat controlling the 240v side maybe at fault, within the thermostat control there is a set-back (also known as Hysteresis) this part could of failed causing it to oscillate, just a thought? could well be wrong?
