Late night arrival pricing

We recently had to use a Club site late night arrival facility and were charged the same rate as usual / normal pitch prices. I arrived at 9.00pm parked up in "late arrival bay " which had electric hook up and access to facilities both of which we used. We left at 0900 next morning after paying the fee. Should there be some sort of "discount " for circumstances these?

It has never happened to us, but as I understand it there is, you should not have been charged the pitch price, just for the number of people. So perhaps £15, for two adults, rather than £23. Or a saving in that order, in any event.

Any one using LNA should only be charged for persons, not a pitch fee,but there will not be water or waste available, but if the said poster used "all" the facilities as stated then a higher fee was appropriate of course

Had you booked a pitch before arriving? If so surely you would expect to pay for it, even if you didn't use it, as it couldn't be filled by another unit. Giving a discount could well lead to others trying the same thing, instead of booking a pitch, and so a loss of income to the club.
