Tim's Caravan Update

Hi everyone,

Last time I posted in here we'd only just bought our 2005 Bailey Ranger and were about to go on our very first caravan trip.

That was 7 months ago and we're now coming up for our 25th night out in it, so I think it's safe to say my wife and Idefinitely have the caravanning bug!

Many of the nights were during the winter and early spring including one at Littlehampton in a gale and one in early February in the snow. Those were very enjoyable but of course now summer's here, it's even better!

We've certainly learned a lot and have got the whole set up thing down to (pretty much) a fine art now, plus we have the whole van kitted out how we want which makes life much easier.

We're well pleased with our van and have only had a couple of issues so far, one with the water system and one with the toilet flush pump handle, both of which were easy enough to fix.

We're enjoying being members of the club and have visited quite a few of the club sites now with the ones near Brighton, Swanage and Salisbury being our favourites so far.

We have many more nights out / trips away planned and are really looking forward to continuing our caravan adventures!

By the way, if your ever at the Slinfold club site (really nice!) and fancy a fry up breakfast, try a cafe a couple of miles up the road called 'Billy's On The Road'. They do one of the best full English type breakfasts I've ever had!

I hope you all have a great summer of caravanning / motorhoming!

Tim.
